How It Works

Slipstream sits between your CRM and QuickBooks, and syncs data back and forth as needed.

Each user defines how their data is synced in what we call their Stream. It was designed specifically for invoice automation.

When events meet your trigger criteria, we query the CRM for the data we need and create invoices in QuickBooks (sometimes a journal entry instead of an invoice to book sales revenue).

Integration events are stored and tracked in our dashboard—see what synced successfully and where there were exceptions. Exceptions include notes on resolution; successful events link through to your CRM and QuickBooks.

A Note from the founder

If you have made it this far, please allow me 90 seconds to share a personal story and the background of this tool.

In 2019 I was a controller, and would spend 3 days every month manually creating invoices. It was this frustration that led me to learn to code, and eventually automate that process. Fast forward several years later, and I am bringing this same solution to businesses across North America. Invoicing is a data entry task that can be automated like many others, but because it is an invoice the implications are more important—the stakes are higher. I wanted to take my expertise and build a product that focused specifically on invoicing, since a lot of the native integrations technically work, but the effect on the accounting team's workflows seemed to be an afterthought to whether or not the data synced.
